Hereford taxi driver Clive Goodwin has fer- ried around the likes of World Cup-winning England goal keeper Gordon Banks and for- mer Liverpool FC owner George Gillett in the past but his lat- est celebrity fare was actress and comedian Caroline Quentin. Clive, 55, was on hand to drive the star of hit show Men Behaving Badly from her hotel in Brecon to the Hay Fes- tival.
The Rank Taxis employ- ee was part of a team of drivers from the com- pany contracted to transport passengers to and from the world- famous festival.
His colleagues call him ‘lucky 21’ due to his cab number and
amazing ability to be in the right place at the right time.
Clive told the Hereford Journal: “She was very polite and was a pleasure to drive.”
CARDIFF TAXI DRIVER WINS A MILLION ON THE LOTTERY
A Cardiff cabbie has been catapulted onto the list of UK million- aires - after scooping £1m on the EuroMil- lions raffle. Dad-of-five Adam Derbi, 35, won the for- tune in the Euro- Millions raffle draw on Tuesday, July 5. The self-employed driver and his wife, Natalia, planned to celebrate by treating close family members to a slap-up meal at their favourite restau- rant.
The couple, who announced their win last month, also hope to buy a house and move from their rented terrace home in Rum- ney - and splash out on a seven-seater car with room for them all. Adam may also

indulge in a few extra rounds of golf, his favourite hobby. Adam told the South Wales Echo: “When I scrolled down and saw that I’d won the £1m I started shaking and it all seemed a bit surreal. Natalia was right there but she did-
n’t believe me at first, it’s only now really sinking in.”
Adam, who bought the winning ticket online, added: “I”m a keen player and have always lived in hope that I’d win to give the family something they’ve not had.”
