ISSUE 173 June 2020

by Richard Hollis, Editor

FOR the first time in three issues, I am writing this from my office once again rather than my small (but gorgeously decorated) flat.

In theory, of course, work has never stopped. The news keeps rolling, and at least certain sections of our industry have been more sheltered from the effects of lockdown than many. And yet, I’m still feeling a palpable sense of ‘returning to work’.

Being around our work colleagues feels like the start of a return to normal, though of course things will take a long time to settle after the stresses of the virus – and some things never will. Nevertheless, the fight is on to minimise the effects of a lockdown that has been both mentally and socially taxing on us all.

With that in mind, we were keen to touch base with the organiser’s of the RWM 2020 to find out whether the industry’s biggest expo has had to postpone like so many other shows – see page 16 for more.

As ever, please enjoy the magazine and don’t forget to follow us on social media – we always love hearing from you!
