CILIP London: The UK Print Book Col- lection – A Year of Progress Securing Access to Content Now and for the Future

Hosted by CILIP London 20 October, 1pm to 2pm Online

Nearly one year on from its launch, join us to explore how the UK Print Book Collection (UK PBC) is transforming the way libraries safeguard access to scarce print monographs. This national collaboration, supported by RLUK, SCONUL, Jisc and the British Library, coordinates retention across the sector to ensure that at least seven libraries hold a copy of each print book. Powered by the National Bibliographic Knowledgebase (NBK), it gives libraries the confidence to make space and collections decisions without risking long term access.

This event is relevant to PKSB areas: Collection Management and Development, Records Man- agement and Archiving, and Strategy, Planning and Management.
