Libraries Rewired: Preview and insight

THIS month sees the inaugural Libraries Rewired conference take place at London’s CodeNode. The event is a new take on the confer- ence experience, focusing on tech and digital skills in the library and informa- tion professions. As well as featuring a packed programme of speakers, Libraries Rewired has a series of opportunities to get hands-on with new technology. Unfortunately for anyone without a ticket to this year’s conference, sales have now closed. However, it is set to become a regular event on the calendar and is due to return next year. And you can have an insight into this year’s event on the next pages where speaker Daniel van Strien writes about how librarians and informa- tion professionals are best placed to make AI work for them and their services.
