The Nation Takes Note of Huskies During Rose Parade

The Chino Hills High School Huskies wowed the nation during their performance at the 131st Rose Parade in Pasadena on New Year 's Day. The Marching Huskies and CHHS Dance Team were part of the Opening Spectacular that celebrated this year 's theme : The Power of Hope. The six-time WGI World Champion drumline and dance team joined Latin Reggaeton artisit Farruko and 2019 Latin GRAMMY Winner for Best Urban Fusion/Performance, Ally Brooke, during the performance. Chino Hills High School and all of CVUSD's performing arts programs were well represented as the Huskies brought additional energy to the streets of Pasadena and the new decade!

GOT KINDNESS?

The Superintendent 's Student Advisory Council gathered earlier this year and collaborated on a student-led initiative entitled Got Kindness? where students, staff, and administrators join together to promote acts of kindness throughout school campuses and the community. To help jump start the initiative, Student Advisory Council members packaged and distributed special Got Kindness? bracelets for each CVUSD student to wear. School sites will arrange activities throughout the year that offer students ideas on how they can find opportunities to promote kindness no matter where they are or who they are with. Keep an eye out for activities at your school site!
