Growing the College | MTC ENTERPRISE CAMPUS AUTHORITY
> The Midlands Technical College Enterprise Campus has been instrumental in increasing the overall competitive structure of the Midlands. The Enterprise Campus caters to the healthcare, aerospace, information technology, and automotive sectors.
> The Ritedose Corporation (TRC) chose the industrial park at the MTC Enterprise Campus to start its first South Carolina expansion. TRC, which specializes in the production of inhalation products, eye drops, ear drops, and oral liquids, will provide internships to MTC students with a STEM background.
Making Lives Better | MTC ENTERPRISE CAMPUS AUTHORITY
> Steady job creation continued at the Enterprise Campus because of small business’ ability to grow and expand in the MTC Business Accelerator. The Business Accelerator provides a flexible, multi-bay building designed to accommodate several emerging businesses working toward the next phase of production and delivery of its services and/or products. The 4,650 square feet (432 square meters) of space includes manufacturing, warehouse, and separate office space.
> The Greenway Group, located in the Business Accelerator, is a full-service consultant company focused on assisting clients of all sizes with modern, reliable, and efficient energy solutions to their lighting-control systems.
Leveraging Goodwill | MTC ENTERPRISE CAMPUS AUTHORITY
> Almost 40 jobs have been created on the Enterprise Campus as a result of small business’ ability to expand in the Business Accelerator while being offered intimate access to resources designed to provide a valuable exchange of information, innovation, and workforce education.
> The Business Accelerator inclusion of utilities, telephone, and internet helped tenants focus on manufacturing and selling consumable products while minimizing overhead costs.
