As an individual or with your household When the quiz starts, you’ll be asked to input your name and email address into the box that appears on the right-hand side of the screen. Once you’ve done this, click ‘Join event’ and you’ll be registered to play. There will be a few test questions before the scored quiz starts.


As a Virtual Team We recommend a maximum of 6 people in a Virtual Team, and this can be hosted on Zoom or Microsoft Teams.


We advise joining the event earlier than 7.30pm if you are hosting a Virtual Team, in case you experience any technical issues that you need to troubleshoot.


Within your quiz team, please select a ‘Quizmaster’ – their role will be to set up and invite the other team members to a Zoom or Teams call and submit the final answer for the group. In nominating the Quizmaster for the group, we strongly recommend using someone comfortable with the conferencing technology platform (Teams or Zoom) and able to troubleshoot basic problems for the group such as muting/unmuting of speakers, using the Chat function or directing people how to turn their camera on and off.
