How to play

We hope you’re excited for Marie Curie’s first ever Virtual Brain Game on Thursday 18 March at 7.30pm.

The quiz will comprise of 4 rounds with 6 questions each. There are no opportunities for double points and each question has only 1 correct answer. There’ll be 20 seconds thinking time – the faster you answer, the better you score.

On the day, visit MarieCurieBrainGame.com and you’ll be prompted to enter your Name and Email address. If you’re playing as a household you can put in a Team Name here.

If you’re playing as a ‘Virtual Team’, your own appointed Quizmaster will put in your Team Name here – the rest of the team only need to join the Microsoft Teams or Zoom call. If you accidentally leave the site and want to get back on, you’ll need a link sent through to your email to pick up where you left off, so please do ensure you put in a valid and current email address.

You can play the quiz as an individual, with your household or create your own Virtual Team – and here’s how to do it.

Top tips

• Watch on a tablet, laptop or TV screen - if you watch on your phone you might not be able to see the questions.

• Join the quiz earlier than the 7.30pm start time to check your sound is working and you can see the screen clearly

• If you’re playing in a Virtual Team, do not use a Zoom Basic account as it will automatically end your meeting after 40 minutes and you might miss some of the questions.

• Google Chrome is the recommended browser.
