Łukasz Patyk to lead Dinnissen’s new D-Innocenter

Dinnissen has appointed Łukasz Patyk as manager of the D-Innocenter, the new R&D and testing facility currently under construction at its headquarters in Sevenum. With this appointment, Dinnissen strengthens its focus on customer testing and process optimization across the food, feed, pet food and chemical industries. The 2,000 m² D-Innocenter is set for completion in early 2026.

A new perspective on process development Originally from Poland, Łukasz Patyk brings over 15 years of international experience in process engineering and seed technology. Before joining Dinnissen, he worked in agribusiness and seed enhancement, where he led projects on process development and equipment implementation. “Although I come from a different segment of the process industry, I immediately recognized Dinnissen’s strength in combining technology with practical application,” says Patyk. “The D-Innocenter is where those worlds come together. It is where we help customers test their processes and reduce risks.”

He joined Dinnissen on 1 September 2025 with confidence, following a successful joint project and encouraged by his long-standing interest in the food sector and innovative technologies.

Testing under real production conditions The D-Innocenter consists of two fully equipped halls: one for customer testing and one for factory acceptance testing (FAT). Together they form a 2,000 m² facility with the height and setup to simulate complete process lines under real conditions. “It is a place where customers can test and refine

their processes before implementation,” says Patyk. “That means fewer surprises and shorter lead times.”

Each test starts with a clear intake on objectives and materials, followed by pre-tests in the laboratory and pilot-scale runs. Every project is documented with data and reports, and when relevant, supported by video footage. This way, Dinnissen helps customers validate upgrades or new recipes before they reach the production floor.

Why the D-Innocenter strengthens Dinnissen’s approach According to Managing Director Wouter Kuijpers, the D-Innocenter marks a significant next step in Dinnissen’s growth. “It brings testing and validation closer together,” he says. “By simulating real production conditions, we can deliver solutions that are proven before they leave our site. That makes our work more valuable for customers.”

Łukasz Patyk adds that the D-Innocenter is also about how Dinnissen will work in the future. “I want it to become the natural starting point for any complex or innovative project,” he says. “A place where customers and our own specialists learn from each other and explore new ideas with

technology partners. If customers can say in a few years, ‘We had a challenge, we went to the D-Innocenter, and it made the difference,’ then we’ve achieved our goal.” With the facility nearing completion and Łukasz Patyk leading its setup, Dinnissen is taking another concrete step forward in proven, predictable solutions for its customers.
