McLovin’ Percheron- Standardbred Gelding 2001 - 2024


McLovin’ was a police horse for the Maryland-National Capital Park Police in Montgomery County for 12 years. During his time there he participated in community and school events, parades, funerals, mounted police competitions and even worked three presidential inaugurations. McLovin’ taught many new mounted officers how to ride and was a steady mount for his entire tenure there. He was assigned to multiple officers
