in Maryland’s Winner’s Circles


The inagural Maryland Sport Horse Award at the Bred To Event qualifi er, held at Loch Moy Farm in Adamstown was Donnie Baseball LOF, bred by Therese Schuller of Lead Off Farm in Friendship, a 2023 Holsteiner colt by Don Quichot (GER) out Zamboni Babe (MD) (Cicera’s Icewater (GER)).


Rosie Denver Eskins and Ima Gangsta were champions in the Lead Line division at Free Rein Horse Show Series and Rescue Benefi t September Western show Oakridge Park in Hughsville.


Adeline Focht rode After Midnight, owned by Jamie Sullivan/Snapdrag- on Stables, at the Colonial Classic Local Championship Finals, held at Prince George’s Equestrian Center on September 31 in Upper Marlboro where she won the Over Fences 2’3’’ class of the Pleasure Horse Division.


Ellie Achee rode Sulley to win in the Pre Short Stirrup W/T/C class, and placed in two other classes, at the Co- lonial Classic, held at the Prince George’s Equestrian Center in Upper Marlboro.


Abby Taylor rode her pony Spur of the Moment to win the Medium Pony Flat race at the Maryland State Fair in Timonium this past September.


Ruthie Goodman and MHF Christine had back-to-back victories in Begin- ner Novice divisions at Seneca Val- ley Pony Club Horse Trials (pictured), held at Bittersweet Field in Pooles- ville, and the Marlborough Horse Tri- als, held at Roseryville State Park in Upper Marlboro.


Chloe Panos rode Stoneledge Coralea to the Mini Stirrup Equitation championship at the Maryland Horse & Pony Show, held in September at the Prince George’s Equestrian Center in Upper Malrboro.
