Waredaca boarders Sam Hellerman and Laura Carlson rode through Connemara in Ireland this summer.
Lara McPherson spent part of the summer at the Ian Stark Equestrian Center in Scot- land where she got to ride along the Sel- kirk, UK, which are the Scottish Borders.
Junior jump jockey James Wyatt of Monkton spent a few weeks this summer training in Ireland as part of the Temple Gwathmey Stee- plechase Foundation Developing Rider program. Wyatt told TGSF, “My favorite part of the trip was getting to jump with Enda Bolger on his farm. The horses were incredible and the [wide variety of cross-country style schooling] jumps were very fun to ride over.”
Alex Holzapfel, Tammie Monaco, Bradley Less, Travis Finkle, Rich Mosley, Greta En- sor Mosley and Cindy Delsart went on a riding safari in South Africa (pictured) and Botswana over the summer.
Lauren and Mike Gaches made a stop in Cotswolds, England this September for some riding before attending the Defend- er Burghley Horse Trials as spectators.
