With just a month to go until the Maryland Horse Forum on August 8th at McDonogh School, excitement is building as planning kicks into high gear! We’re thrilled to share the results of our comprehensive industry-wide survey, which received feedback from hundreds of individuals. This valuable input has highlighted the key topics our community is eager to discuss at the forum. Some of the main issues on everyone’s minds include the need for more veterinarians and health professionals, strategies to attract new people to the horse industry, and maintaining our social license to operate. Additionally, preserving public land for recreational riding, ensuring horse welfare, and navigating legislation affecting the industry are high priorities.
Now we need YOU to participate and come to Horse Forum! By attending the forum, you can share the issues that matter most to you and work with others in the industry to develop innovative solutions. All the ideas and solutions will be compiled into a final report, which will be presented to the Governor of Maryland and released to the public. Join us in shaping the future of the horse industry in Maryland. Your insights and contributions are invaluable!
