This off ering is limited in service relative to traditional senior housing, yet program-rich relative to traditional multifamily options. The fi rst application of welltowerLIVING is through the acquisition of three assets in Las Vegas, Nev., with a total of 620 residences.


Appointments, Promotions & Recognition


Chicago-based Belmont Village Senior Liv- ing’s recently opened Lincoln Park commu- nity has achieved LEED Gold Certifi cation from the U.S. Green Building Council. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environ- mental Design) rating system is the foremost


program for buildings, homes and commu- nities that are designed, constructed, main- tained and operated for improved environ- mental and human health performance. Opened in mid-2019, the 149-residence building includes a green roof, energy-ef- fi cient plumbing and light fi xtures, repur- posed materials, and multiple level lighting and thermal controls. This is the second of the provider’s communities to meet the Gold guidelines.


GAIL PETERSON


Ecolab Inc., based in St. Paul, Minn., announced that Gail Peterson has been promoted to senior vice president of global marketing and communi- cations. In her new role,


Peterson will lead Global Marketing for Eco- lab and oversee the company’s global brand, global communications, market research, sustainability and water partnerships teams. She will join Ecolab’s executive committee, reporting to chairman and CEO Douglas M. Baker, Jr.


Previously, Peterson was vice president of marketing for Ecolab’s healthcare division.
