Let’s look at the current situation and try and predict what impact they expensive in the US.

So this would seem to have very little negative impact on China, however, President Trump is convinced that the actual value is considerably higher, believing that China tranships much more steel via Canada and Mexico into the US, but domestic steel producers who compete directly with foreign imports, as they could now charge higher prices, but downstream, companies which rely on steel or even aluminium will have to pay more for these much- needed products.
This will surely result in their cost of production rising and, ultimately, the end price of the product having to increase to meet these higher production person in the street.
Doesn’t sound like much of a win-win solution for the US.
Focusing on commodities, the Chinese have products, amongst them soybeans, corn, wheat, sorghum and cotton.
