Villa In France, a ‘villa’ can be anything from a recent construction to a traditional seaside property with original features. For €200,000, you could buy a half- timbered villa in Le Tréport, or for €2.75m a luxury 11-bedroom villa in Deauville.


Farmhouse Farmhouses here are plentiful – from family homes to sprawling properties with outbuildings. A half-timbered example on farmland is €400,000 in Seine-Maritime, while something modest and traditional costs under €70,000 in Manche.
