Youth, Teen & Tot Programs


Hip Hop/Jazz Class Fee: $45/4 Weeks


KTA dance will specialize in teaching the students beginning and intermediate jazz and hip hop moves. Students will learn fun and exciting dance routines to current and old school hip hop and pop music. Dance students will learn basic ballet, jazz and stretch moves for warmups every class. Please make sure to bring water to class. No dance experience is necessary! INSTRUCTOR: KTA Dance Staff BEGINS: 10/4, 11/8, 1/10


In spring, the City of Bellflower will once again offer this exciting volunteer job training program that provides resources for young teens in the community that will not only equip them for life after graduation, but also give them exposure to different positions within the Parks and Recreation Department. The LEAD program provides young teens with the proper guidance, level of expectation and tools to learn life skills that are crucial for leadership development. The program benefits them both in their professional and personal developments, while teaching them basic job skills and the importance of community involvement. The LEAD Program is looking for volunteers with an open mind and desire to learn first-hand what it takes to join the Parks and Recreation Department’s team.
