Why Digital? The next generation of Stilo digital intercoms offers a dramatic step forward with its active digital noise cancelling. Digital, unlike the limited capabilities of old analog intercoms, has the capability of active digital noise cancelling, which in a millisecond can separate the vitally important sound of the drivers voices from the excessive bad noises of the engine, transmissions and road surface and filter these right down while improving the more important sound of the communications between driver and co-driver. The first pit to car communication system via phone. The channel is constantly open for the driver and team presses a button on their headset to communicate. Due to the use of telephone sim cards there are no radio licenses required. Phones and sim cards are not supplied but the Stilo Verbacom system will work with any Bluetooth compatible mobile phone. The radio kit is the basic configuration for the communication via radio between one car and the engineer in the pits. The driver will have one radio, the connection wirings to his helmet, a car antenna and the PTT button to decide when to start and stop the communications. The engineer instead will have a portable radio with antenna and belt clip, one headset with a noise cancelling microphone and the connection cable for the portable radio. The communication can also be extended from one engineer to more people in the pits. Available in Analogical, Digital for better quality and Digital Plus allowing multiple configurations (integration in complex radio systems).
