Countryside Bible Church Meade, Kansas Chuck Finster, Pastor Countryside sent a large work team to


Ecuador from March 10-20. Te team of 19 teens, 12 sponsors and three children worked with missionaries Chet and Katie Williams in Shell, Ecuador. Teir project was to build a training center for indig- enous people coming out of the jungle. When complete, the center will disciple


and train the people for different trades such as welding and carpentry. Te team shared highlights of their work on April 3. One of our college students, Grace


Piteo, will tour in China with the Grace University Band in May.


Salem Church Waldheim, Saskatchewan Darrell Derksen, Pastor Moving into the new addition to our


church building has been a giant, but exciting job for many people in our church family. Transferring offices, Sunday School classrooms, kitchen and dining equipment, as well as committee resources into the large bright facility took several days. We are blessed as we enjoy our new space! A prayer of sending was held for Larissa


Wiens, missionary with OM in Zambia, on Mar. 6. Serious health complications kept Larissa home for six months, but now she has returned in faith to continue ministering to women through Tabitha Skills Development. Deborah Unruh, a young woman from


our congregation, is gathering a support team as she prepares to serve in France through GEM. She anticipates leaving near the end of 2016. Kendrew Friesen, one of our young


men who is preparing for future global ministry, was guest speaker on Easter. Nine women from our church plan


to participate in the Freedom Climb in Fernie, B.C. this summer (om.org/en/ freedomclimb_ca). Trough this project, they are raising funds and awareness to help those who are struggling with sexual enslavement in our world. Baptisms: Two in February and March Marg Fehr, Correspondent

Ensenada, Mexico in February. Te group worked with YWAM to build a home for a family in poverty. Pastor Greg and three of our elders reported on their experiences in Cuba. Tey accompanied Don Pickel of ASSIST Canada to visit Cuban churches and pastors in January. Tese mission trips have been life-changing for team members as they broaden their understanding of our world. In turn, they have been a great encouragement to our congregation. Our club year for children ages three

attended the FEBC Soul Sisters retreat in Saskatoon in April. A team of 20 adults and children


(representing seven families) culminated a year of fundraising with a missions trip to
