us to go out and be where the lost are using Christ’s example in Luke 5:27-31. In the aſternoon our guest missionaries recount- ed stories and a Q & A panel allowed congregation members to ask questions of our missionaries. Te conference finished with a final worship service, prayer and a challenge to get into our community. Overall, this was a very challenging and encouraging day for all of us as we heard how God was working through different ministries. As a church we were challenged to consider how our members could spend more time befriending the lost.

Gunthal EMB Church Grunthal, Manitoba Jared Fast, Pastor grunthalemb.com It’s a huge blessing to have the tech-

nology that we do during this pandemic, because technology has allowed the church to go on. We are truly seeing now that church is more than just a building; thanks to technology, we can still fellow- ship together as believers online.

Pastor Jared has created a YouTube

channel where he posts our services. Kids can watch children’s feature videos, and Pastor Jared records himself reading Pilgrims Progress so folks can listen and read along. Te church congregation sends in pictures and videos of what they are up to at home, and those are included in the Sunday morning sermon video on YouTube. One of our members had the fantastic idea of asking everyone to email a family photo, then she printed them all and taped them to the pews as a nice surprise for Pastor Jared.

Bible study groups are meeting on

Zoom®, so they can still study God’s word together.

Although the future is unknown,

God is sovereign and in control of every single thing. He is good, and we are so thankful for his character and the way he’s blessed our church through everything.
