is an invitation from God that we must respond to more and more.

A member in our congregation sub- mitted the following encouraging acrostic:

Christ Offers Victorious Invincible Deliverance 19 (See Psalm 34:19: “Many are

the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”)

Dalmeny Bible Church Dalmeny, Saskatchewan Dennis Friesen, Lead Pastor dalmenybiblechurch.ca Our Assessment Questions in light of

COVID-19 were 1. What do we know about God? 2. How do these circumstances

interconnect with our Vision, Values and Present Focus?

3. What do we know about the na-

ture of humanity at this time? 4. What are the present and potential

challenges/opportunities as a result of COVID-19?

Aſter a time of individual prayer and

Scripture reading, we came back to pres- ent what we heard from God’s word and to form an Action Plan. We presented the Action Plan via video to our congregation via Facebook and YouTube.

Presently we are pre-recording Sun-

day services (shortened to 40 minutes) and making them live at 10:00 MST.

During the week we launch new videos for our congregation

• Monday – Prayer led by a member of our church

• Tuesday – Children’s Focus

• Tursday – Church Family Con- nection doing interviews of how people are living out their faith on the Frontlines

• Friday - Family Interactive Resource 20 Fellowship Focus, May/June 2020

At the end of our service, we remind

people to create the foyer fellowship by texting or phoning two or three individu- als to have that intentional contact and to ask how they can pray for one another.

Not everyone in our church is on the

Members Facebook page, and so all others receive emails with links to the service on YouTube. For those who do not have internet access, we provide pre-loaded tablets with instructions on how to watch the weekly videos and service.

With a dual focus on Connection

and Tankfulness, our church family has been divided up amongst various leaders, and they are contacted weekly.

We’ve begun a virtual Tankful-

ness Wall online in conjunction with Eph. 5:21. People are encouraged to post words of thanks during this time of stress and isolation. We will transfer these to a Tankfulness Wall at church in the foyer so when people return from this distanc- ing, we will be able to reflect together on the Lord’s goodness to us through this time.

Te Family Pantry that was set up

in one of our schools had to close, so our church has become the drop-off and deliv- ery point for food and supplies.

Hodgson Bible Church Hodgson, Manitoba Hans Elgby, Pastor www.hodgsonbiblechurch.org During this COVID-19 pandemic,

our congregation has suspended services and weekly gatherings.

At this writing, we are restricted to

ten people being able to meet together. Terefore our pastor has begun sending devotionals and a message for Sunday mornings, through email. We are also keeping in touch by phone and texting.

Since the beginning of the year,

the Lord has blessed us with new people attending the services and meetings. We trust that more people will worship with us when we return to normal. In the mean time, we continue to plan for the two

main evangelistic outreaches for children of our area, mainly Fisher Bay Bible Camp and Vacation Bible School.

We rejoice in how the Lord has sus-

tained both Wendy (the wife our pastor Hans) and Joan (an untiring servant who has been a foster parent to many and has a wonderful way with children) in their journey through cancer treatment. We, the adults and our children, are blessed beyond measure by their positive attitudes and service to our congregation.

We are looking forward to the day

when we are on the other side of this pan- demic and can meet together to worship.

Grace Evangelical Bible Church Abbotsford, Britich Columbia Ryan Peixoto, Lead Pastor graceabbotsford.com God has chosen this year 2020

to shake up the entire world. He is in control, and it is so evident, now more than ever, that no matter how advanced or wealthy we are, we are not in control. Tis crisis came at an unusual time for us and has been exceptionally challenging as our lead pastor, Ryan Peixoto, is away on a sabbatical. A string of guest speakers was scheduled. But God is good!

Our Youth Director, Josh Brown,

felt led to step up and has committed to preaching and teaching to our congrega- tion online. Tis is an amazing opportu- nity for him to share his heart with the congregation and maintain a sense of unity among us. He is an amazing teacher and the Lord has certainly blessed us through him.

Churchonlineplatform.com is an

interactive platform we are using for our online services. We launched our site last week and saw the majority of our congregation online. We were also able to chat with each other and receive prayer requests. Tis created a sense of commu- nity similar to what we have on a Sunday morning.
