EUROBLECH 2024 PREVIEW

NEW SOLUTIONS ON SHOW G

YS, Europe’s largest manufacturer of welding equipment, will be exhibiting a

number of new and recently launched welding solutions at EuroBLECH [Stand 26 M30]. These include one of the world’s most advanced pulsed MIG/MAG welding ranges the Neopulse, and the new cost-effective Galaxy series Pulse MIG/MAG range. The Neopulse is the result of 6 years

of R&D investment in the GYS factory in France and incorporates over 1.3 million lines of software illustrating the level of technology and know-how required today to produce an advanced Pulsed MIG/MAG machine. Consisting of five models, ranging from 220A to 500A, the Neopluse range offers a true state-of-the art solution for industrial and automated applications. It represents one of the world’s most

advanced pulsed MIG/MAG welding range, capable of synergy-support and pulsed welding, MMA and TIG welding as well as brazing and air-arc gouging. A lot of consideration has also been applied to the HMi (human machine interface) exploiting the advantages of modern large screen functionality to creating ease of use. Neil Burton, GYS Divisional Manager

Welding, says: “Visitors will be able to see what Neopulse offers as a powerful combination of welding technology, and user-centric design. With its synergy- supported pulsed MIG/MAG capabilities, alongside MMA, TIG, brazing, and air-arc gouging functionalities, Neopulse ensures optimal welding parameters with minimal user input. This is possible only as a result of GYS’s constant investment in R&D ensures customers are buying the latest

technology available in welding today.” Synergic mode allows the machine

to automatically determine the ideal welding paraments when entering just four data points: material/gas, wire diameter, welding mode, and thickness. Synergy-support allows Neopulse to eliminate time consuming adjustments and optimises the overall process. There are three interface levels: easy, expert, and advanced, making it easy to switch between simple operation and full control. Neopulse welders are packed with

advanced functions, allowing extremely accurate arc control comprehensive MIG welding modes, including Standard Dynamic, Standard Impact, Standard Root, Pulsed, Modularc, and Manual. Additionally, they are fully

automation ready. Neopulse 320, 400, and 500 can be connected to all major brands of robot, cobot, and programmable logic controller (PLC) via a proprietary GYS ‘SAM’ (Smart Automation Module) control interface. The recently launched Galaxy series

Simple, single-input control

will also be on the stand, offering a new Pulse MIG/MAG range that addresses both the price and usability barriers traditionally associated with Pulse technology. This innovative series offers welding professionals access to PULSE welding technology at a price point much closer to conventional non-Pulse machines, while also improving usability through an advanced, user-friendly interface. The Galaxy series overcomes

traditional Pulse usability challenges in

two ways: Single-Input Control and Easy Mode. The Single-Input Control wheel allows users to manage the machine's advanced features in a manner similar to a traditional step-voltage welder, making operation more intuitive. Easy Mode simplifies the process further by streamlining the interface, offering simple and automatic controls through a large 3.5-inch colour screen. With over 40 synergies, the machine sets itself up for optimal performance after entering just three data points: wire diameter, material/gas, and thickness. These innovative features in Galaxy make Pulse technology more accessible for beginners and those unfamiliar with it. The Galaxy series offers flexibility

across a range of machines to suit different applications, from a 250-Amp single-phase model to three-phase machines offering between 320 and 400 Amps for more demanding industrial jobs. These machines are available in both air-cooled and water-cooled versions as compacts or seperates, with the 400-Amp models offering separate wire feeder options. All Galaxy machines are developed and made in France, ensuring high quality and performance. By reducing both the price gap and

the complexity of Pulse welding, GYS has made advanced welding technology more accessible to a broader range of welding professionals. The Galaxy series bridges the gap between traditional MIG/MAG welding and the more advanced Pulse technology without sacrificing performance or ease of use. www.gys-welding.com
