At the time of writing this message we are experiencing the hottest summer on record for many years. I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful weather, even though it can be difficult to work in such temperatures. Talking of temperature, Brexit is still a hot topic, with little progress in moving forward at this present time. This lack of progress, in my opinion, is now reducing confidence in the marketplace with many companies thinking long and hard about future investments. This does not make our working lives any easier.


I hope all of our members are in good health and are experiencing some growth in their day-to-day business. We need to continually train and support our sales people, as new products and technology are constantly changing. We all need to step back and evaluate how to be successful in the difficult and competitive marketplace that we all share. I have, in my opinion, seen some crazy pricing structures, in some cases due to lack of sales ability and not understanding the value of the products being offered. Please do not forget that knowledge and experience should not be given away.
