Consort1 THE FIRST MILE CONSORT1
Secured deposit service Consort1’s unique Secured Deposit Service uses the repo market to offer a better option than unsecured bank deposits. This service protects capital with UK Gilts or other securities as collateral, providing safety if banks fail. Unsecured deposits lack this security. Secured deposits can also provide higher returns and much higher risk-adjusted returns, and they’re exempt from the UK Bail-In. Consort1 is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission.

Crafting tomorrow’s packaging today
Packaging touches virtually every person on the planet, yet we never give it a second thought. Well, that’s not strictly true — some of us do
As organisers of Packaging Innova- tions & Empack 2024, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on 21-22 February 2024, Easyfairs gets a good view of how the packaging industry has rapidly evolved year after year. Te industry is changing so quickly, in fact, many areas on the show floors are nearly unrecognis- able compared to just five years ago. Half of that is down to the
talent and creativity in the pack- aging sector that constantly drives progress forward. Te other half is due to constantly shifting regu- lations — but it’s been great to see that the industry hasn’t simply sat back and complained about the new rules that have been imposed on it — instead,
it’s used regulation as inspiration for innovation.
