Jashita Hotel Tulum QUINTANA ROO, MEXICO
Bathed in the colours of the Caribbean and the gentle aromas of bougainvillea, Jashita is a luxury boutique hotel located on Tulum’s secluded and protected Soliman Bay in Riviera Maya. At the heart of Jashita resides a sense of home
that all guests will be able to experience and share in and become part of. Before it became a hotel, Jashita was a family home, but it was too special not to be shared. Jashita Hotel Tulum officially opened its doors in 2010 under the stewardship of a visionary Italian family who discovered the bay and fell in love with it. The property has come a long way from the
early days when there wasn’t any electricity or running water in the bay and Tulum was only a small fishing village. But one thing hasn’t changed: the property is still the only hotel on the bay, joined by a handful of private homes and rental villas. Today, with its 30 luxury suites and five acres of private beachfront, Jashita Hotel is perfect for guests looking for privacy and exclusivity away from the crowds, while
still being easily accessible from Tulum’s eclectic downtown and vibrant beach. Facilities include three swimming pools, a
spectacular beachfront spa and yoga studio, a swing-seated beach bar and an exclusive boutique. Jashita’s in-house restaurant, Pandano, serves handmade dishes, freshly prepared using locally grown ingredients and bringing together the best of Italian and Mexican cuisine. The beach of Jashita Hotel is a real gem, set
between the ocean and the tropical mangrove forest. Large straw parasols are spaced at a distance to ensure complete privacy, and the beach is for the exclusive use of the hotel’s guests and has no public access. The bay lies 10 miles north of Tulum and is
embraced by a beautiful barrier reef: the same that runs all the way down to Honduras, and which is the world’s second-largest coral reef. The barrier protects the bay from the waves and currents, creating a home to many varieties of tropical fish, manta rays and colourful coral formations.
