ideas from her groundbreaking book Grapefruit (1964) to life. You’ll get to do creative challenges
based on Ono’s art and activism across the gallery — a treasure hunt of fun and games using dance, movement, music and your own imagination. You can create decorative cranes
using paper, try mask-making, or follow Ono’s poetic instructions that ask you to ‘breathe’, ‘whisper,’ and ‘go on drawing until you disappear’. T ese activities invite the whole family to join in. All year round, Uniqlo Tate Play
off ers free activities to families visiting Tate Modern and encourages people of all ages to play together and get creative. T e programme is always made available to all, inspired by the belief that art and play are for everyone. Since it launched in 2021, it has commissioned large- scale projects by renowned artists including Rasheed Araeen, Yayoi Kusama and Ei Arakawa, and it has seen more than 415,000 people take part. Building on this incredible success, Uniqlo has now extended its support of the programme for another fi ve years, from 2024 to 2029.
