FOOD LOVER TOUR® EAT LOCAL

Food Lover Tour® is a guided food and wine walking tour company for lovers of good food wishing to explore the local cuisine while having fun and avoiding tourist traps. No matter where you go with us, Spain, Portugal, France, and soon Italy (Rome), we guarantee that you’ll explore, taste and live like a local.

Specializing in Food and Wine tours, Food Lover Tour can help you discover some of Europe’s finest cities. We go where the locals go - because the locals know best!

Socialize, make new friends, and learn anecdotes and fun facts about the food and drink you try - plus discover secrets about the city you are visiting. Take in the local dishes and culture like you’ve been living there for years, and enjoy a fun experience, shared with friends, family, or even as a solo traveler.

Eating locally is a commitment. At Food Lover Tour, we believe that the food ecosystem is ready to embrace this mindset. This is why we take particular care in selecting passionate

people to guide you, as well as bars, restaurants, shops, and markets that are committed both to the environment and to their local history - working exclusively with local products and flavors.

We ensure you taste only the best, most mouth-watering dishes - with the freshest ingredients based on season and region. Take a juicy, perfectly-grilled octopus in Barcelona, glazed with fresh white wine, and its tender and flavorful meat cooked at low temperatures in the old neighborhoods of Madrid drizzled in butter (because with butter it’s always better). Perfectly paired with a robust red wine from the Priorat (Cataluña Region). Another option could also be some delicious roasted Mediterranean vegetables of Malaga, cooked ‘a la plancha’ with tasty olive oil from Sevilla - simple and fresh. To finish, why not try in Valencia a beautiful dark chocolate cake with buttery caramel and creamy vanilla quenelle on the side? Is anyone else’s mouth watering yet?

Each city has its unique peculiarities and history, and

the areas we select for you, are usually filled with lovely restaurants and bars, mostly off the beaten track of mass tourism. That is how our tours maintain their authenticity, by bearing witness to those local traditions we are so thrilled to share with you.

From Spain to Portugal, and now France, we are currently present in six Spanish locations. In Portugal, we host tours in Lisbon and Porto, and in France, we’ve started in Bordeaux, with new cities coming soon. We are also excited to announce that Rome, Italy will be the newest addition to our top destination list, with some fantastic food tour experiences in store for you.

Food Lover Tour has more than 10 years of experience as a food and beverage tour company, with almost half a million happy customers around the world so far. Top- rated on review platforms, and a favorite food tour company across many social media platforms, we are proud to procure happiness through the love of good, local, food and drink. If you’re all about great food, great wines, great experience, and great people, come and see what it’s all about the next time you visit one of our cities.

Oh! And please come hungry!
