two key initiatives: the installation of a fourth MEGA HIP unit within the next three years and the addition of a vacuum heat treatment furnace scheduled for commissioning in mid- 2025. This furnace will be tailored for titanium treatment, allowing ITS to offer a combined HIP and heat treatment service. Through these strategic investments, ITS Bilbao is steadily advancing as a key HIP and vacuum treatment center in Europe, supporting the aerospace industry’s demand for high-quality, efficient processing.
