Uni-Cast Receives RTX Premier Award for Excellence in Innovation and Customer Collaboration
RTX has recognized Uni-Cast with a Premier Award for performance in 2024 and overall excellence in Technology & Innovation and Collaboration & Customer Service. The Premier Award is an annual recognition platform under the RTX Performance+ Program to recognize suppliers with superior performance and that have provided exceptional value to RTX in one of the five key categories: Cost Competitiveness, Technology & Innovation, Business Management, Collaboration/Customer Service, and Sustainability. Uni-Cast, headquartered in Londonderry, New Hampshire, is a major manufacturer of sophisticated aluminum investment castings for the aerospace and defense industries. Through strategic technology adoption and continued capital investment, the company has established itself as a global leader in the aluminum investment casting industry. In 2010, Uni-Cast developed a proprietary foundry process
known as SPARK, enabling the production of high-property castings. Today, this process accounts for approximately half of Uni-Cast’s sales. More recently, the company has made significant
investments to expand its ability to manufacture the largest aluminum investment castings in the world. These enhancements include a new shell line featuring a 1,600 lb robot and 79-inch tanks, a 5-foot autoclave, two 6-foot heat treat furnaces, upgraded all-electric melters, and state-of-the- art X-ray equipment. This expanded capability allows Uni- Cast to support new and more complex casting applications, fueling further growth and increased market share. “This recognition from RTX reflects our relentless pursuit
