The

Galapagos Islands 2

Witness nature at its best in the

Wildlife thrives on the harsh, remote terrain of the Galápagos Islands. The sheer number and variety on land and underwater makes this archipelago unique – with much of the marine life endemic. It’s the incredible array of wildlife that helped hone Sir Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution. Hundreds of marine iguanas catch some rays on the beaches, sea lions frolic in the water and giant tortoises munch their way around an island – just a normal day in the Galápagos. And the animals here aren’t shy; the islands’ remote location and relative lack of predators has made the inhabitants more inquisitive, if anything, of human visitors.

Snorkel with sea lions, admire the courtship of a blue-footed booby and step over iguanas basking in the sun on a seven-day Galápagos voyage, available year-round.
