Trafalgar to launch third river-cruise vessel in April 2027
Trafalgar will add a third river cruise ship to its fleet next year with the introduction of Trafalgar Harmonie in France. The vessel will sail a new Seine
route, Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy, from April 2027. The 126-passenger ship will have a 3:1 guest-to-staff ratio
and showcase French culinary traditions on board. Excursions will include visits
with local families to cider farms in Normandy, Monet’s gardens in Giverny and Normandy’s Second World War beaches. Clients can combine cruises with tours such as Trafalgar’s

Celebrity Cruises will debut four European-themed festivals on new ship Celebrity Xcel this summer. The festivals will take place in
The Bazaar, a new venue space for the fifth Edge Class ship. They aim to bring “different sights, sounds, flavours and traditions” of the Mediterranean to life every
day through live performances and three-storey LED screens. The Opa Festival will immerse
guests in the traditions of Greece, while the La Dolce Vita Festival will showcase the culture of Italy. The Spanish-focused Salud
Festival will feature matadors and flamenco dancers, while The Silk
& Spice Festival will offer a taste of Morocco and Turkey. Xcel’s inaugural European
season will feature a series of seven and 11-night journeys from Athens and Barcelona, including new overnight stays in Madeira, Portugal. Prices lead in at £1,398.
