G Adventures and Nat Geo unveil 32 Signature itineraries
Samantha Mayling
G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions have revealed details of their new range of high-end trips, departing from January 2027. The National Geographic
Signature with G Adventures programme features 32 itineraries across 28 destinations, ranging in duration from one week to 19 days. The countries covered by the routes include Peru, Japan, Costa
Rica, Morocco, Vietnam and Palau, in the Pacific – a new destination for G Adventures. Each trip includes ‘signature
moments’, which are designed to bring National Geographic’s heritage of exploration to life. They include conservation experiences in Cambodia, cultural encounters in Morocco, and private or early- access visits to the Amman Citadel and Costa Rica’s canopy walkways. Travellers will be accompanied by National Geographic leaders
Palau Pacific Resort
and experts such as biologists, conservationists, historians, archaeologists and photographers. Every booking supports the
National Geographic Society, with the trips visiting initiatives run by the non-profit organisation, such as women’s weaving cooperatives in Peru, community-led culinary projects in Egypt and conservation programmes such as giant-clam planting in Palau. A 12-day exploration of Peru
taking in Lima, Machu Picchu and
the Amazon starts at £7,449, while a nine-day marine conservation- focused trip in Palau costs from £7,099. The prices exclude flights. A 10-day itinerary that
visits Beijing, the Great Wall of China, Xi’an, Chengdu and the Gobi Desert costs from £5,149, excluding flights. Accommodation options
range from safari camps and eco-lodges to vineyard stays, riads and boutique beach retreats.
