Looking back: the 2021 conference


The Association of Touring & Adventure suppliers is set to host its biggest conference in Warwick next week


The Association of Touring & Adventure Suppliers (Atas) has unveiled more details about speakers at its conference on November 1-2. More than 250 agents will be among 400 delegates attending the event at the British Motor Museum near Warwick.


Experienced agents will share their tips about selling touring and adventure holidays, such as Travel Counsellors’ Alison Marden. Also discussing ways to maximise


the sector’s opportunities will be Claudia Miguel, Visit Portugal’s UK director; Joanna Reeve, head of business development and partnerships at Intrepid Travel; Niel Alobaidi, Newmarket Holidays’ chief executive; and Peter Shanks, UK and Ireland managing director at Silversea Cruises. Experts from Mail Metro Media


will share their latest research about consumer trends, and Travis Pittman, co-founder and chief executive of TourRadar, will talk about his passion for touring and adventure. Tigerbay and Visit Portugal
