New online hub designed to streamline agents’ workload


A


new online hub featuring a range of information and services was unveiled


during the agency’s conference. The Holidaysplease Hub will


be a “one-stop shop” for agents and will feature destination and product information and training, plus sales and marketing details and assets. Modules will focus on hotels,


airlines and cruise, including seating and deck plans, virtual tours, shareable photos and promo codes. Agents will also be able to access


supplier incentives and contacts, financial protection information and policy updates and will be able to search for suppliers using fields including those offering price parity. The hub will also include a


wellbeing area, live and pre-recorded training and webinars, plus onboarding programmes for new starters. A second phase of development


is due to include modules focused on areas including sales systems and social media. Holidaysplease is overhauling


its agents’ individual website profile


pages and social media channels and has highlighted immediate commercial gains from those completed so far. The profile pages will feature new


photos and up-to-date information and reviews, with content then repurposed for social channels. Director Charles Duncombe told


delegates that tracked enquiries from channels updated so far showed the revamped profiles had driven business worth “tens of thousands” of pounds. Other improvements will


include updated email signatures, as agents were encouraged to create personalised content including videos to drive more engagement.


Holidaysplease ‘Millionaire’ top sellers are honoured

and Danny Sperling from Minty Highway Consultancy warned agents not to saturate social pages with offers but highlighted the importance of a consistent presence to ensure opportunities were not missed. Victory said: “You may not like


posting photos or videos, but your customers love seeing you – you only have to look at the comments when you post.” Encouraging agents to celebrate

Some recruits to be offered £1k a month ‘guarantee’


The homeworking agency is to offer a select number of new recruits a three-month earning guarantee of £1,000 per month. The guarantee will be offered to four or five new


recruits who join the company ready to start selling in the new year. The new recruits will need to have three years’ current travel sales experience and will have to commit to at least 30 hours per week to qualify. Dixon said: “We recognise it is a big decision for


people to jump from an employed to self-employed position, so we are offering an earning guarantee of £1,000 per month for their first three months.


“With the current cost-of-living increases, the


guarantee will help new joiners settle in and be ready to make the most of the best earning months of the year.” Brand and business growth executive Cat Reeves


added: “With large increases in our average sale and high net margins, we are seeing our team members’ commission earnings running over 30% up on 2019, so there can be no doubt that the uncapped earning opportunity of successful homeworking is the perfect remedy for the rising cost of living.” Dixon added: “Nevertheless, the guarantee will provide that little bit of extra certainty people may need right now.”
