Premier Holidays’ new Jersey Guernsey brochure for 2023

Premier expands self-catering range in Channel Islands

Juliet Dennis

Premier Holidays has responded to the cost-of-living crisis by expanding the range of self- catering options in its 2023 Channel Islands programme. The brochure features seven

new places to stay, as well as a host of early-booking offers. Three self-catering properties

have been added in Jersey. The apartments, which are

in Discovery Bay on the coastal road overlooking St Ouen’s Bay, are suited to families and couples seeking direct access to the beach. Prices for three nights in a

two-bedroom apartment start at £310 based on four sharing, including travel by sea as a foot passenger from Poole or by air from regional airports. Also new in Jersey are the

Harbour View Suites and La Place Townhouses. In Guernsey, the operator has

introduced Saints Bay, Le Pommier Hotel, plus glamping, a shepherd’s hut, treehouse and a tower.

So, this is the last ‘Where’s Wendy’ column – a bittersweet moment for me as I hand over the reins of the amazing Holland America Line product to Karen Farndell and her team. I’ve loved working for HAL for so many years, sailing on the ships, and selling a truly excellent brand that blends beautiful modern ships and worldwide destinations, yet also has so much legacy and historical association. I know that Karen and her team will continue to develop

HAL sales, work closely with you all and help create great holidays and memories for your clients. As I transition to a fully Seabourn role as Director of Sales, UK & Europe, I say a fond farewell to HAL and I look forward to continuing to work with you all on Seabourn.

Wendy Lahmich Director of Sales UK & Europe, Seabourn

Wendy’s passion and enthusiasm about everything HAL has made me feel so excited to have joined the UK team last month.

I was lucky enough to be able to sail around the Eastern Med with my family on the beautiful Oosterdam in the summer and, along with some of the team, joined

the first of the 150th anniversary celebrations on board Rotterdam in Plymouth this week.

These events marked the start of what promises to be a very exciting year for us and I’m really looking forward to sharing more of what’s in store as we work with our agent partners to help us celebrate our 150th anniversary.
