NCL unveils Europe 2019 sailings

Norwegian Cruise Line will deploy six ships in Europe next summer – up from five this year.


The 2,394-passenger Norwegian


Pearl will offer ex-Amsterdam itineraries followed by sailings from Rome, Barcelona and Venice, having spent the 2018 summer


season sailing out of the US. Norwegian Pearl will join five


other NCL vessels in Europe: Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Spirit, Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Star and Norwegian Jade. Norwegian Pearl’s new


itineraries will be on sale via


NCL’s website from next Tuesday (July 31), while Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Spirit’s new cruises


will be on sale from August 6. Norwegian Spirit will be based


out of Southampton next summer. Prices for its 12-day Norway & The Arctic itinerary, departing


from June 14, 2019, lead in at £2,469. Ports of call in Norway include Stavanger, Trondheim, Hammerfest, Honningsvaag, Geiranger and Flam. The 2,000-passenger vessel will


undergo a bow-to-stern revamp as part of the line’s refurbishment
