Intrepid launches its first cruises in southeast Asia

Intrepid Travel is growing its adventure cruising programme for 2018-19 by expanding into southeast Asia for the first time.
The operator will offer five new itineraries, with a total of 20 departures, across Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. The tours, some of which are combinable or can be sailed in reverse, are: Cruising Thailand & Malaysia; North Vietnam Coastal Cruising; Cruising the Thai Islands; South Vietnam Coastal Cruising; and Indonesian Islands Cruise. The sailings, on small 50-passenger ships, will start in December 2018 and each will operate without an engine for one day as part of Intrepid’s aim to become the world’s most sustainable cruise operator. Scenic offers discounts for early 2019 river bookings
Scenic has released its 2019 French river cruise collection, with discounts on bookings made by August 15. The eight- day Scenic Enrich Bordeaux to Bordeaux sailing includes a sunset reception at Château de La Rivière and a private classical concert at Château Agassac. Pandaw reveals Andaman sailings for first ocean ship
