bookings for the next two years as more countries remove entry restrictions. Richard Forde, head of trade sales, said: “Demand
for 2024 has been unexpectedly strong from the start of the year, and it’s clear that our customers are now eager to get their travel planning under way, having started booking holidays for 2024 and 2023 as soon as restrictions began lifting. “Agents have been champing at the bit to secure
2024 holidays for their customers, especially on our safari programme and for our Borneo, Costa Rica and South American tours.” Forde said the cost-of-living crisis could also be
having an impact, as consumers recognise prices are likely to increase. “With prices rising generally, customers are aware
that if they want to secure their preferred destination and date at the best price, then now is the time to book,” he said. “Agents are really helping us get that message across and our customers are reacting.” On Safari in South Africa in 2024 costs from £2,135 including flights, seven nights’ full-board accommodation and game drives. The Canadian Rockies in 2024 is priced from £2,715, including flights, nine nights’ room-only accommodation and transfers.
