Story: Former Tui executive Paul Cooper joins Flylolo Low-cost flight operator Flylolo is a dubious concept which has probably past its sell-by date. Will the market say Lots of Love or Laugh Out Loud?

Flylolo chief executive replies: Being Christmas and summer- only, we can cherrypick and un- dercut the LCCs. May I suggest we might have the last laugh?

Story: WTTC Summit: US visa proposals ‘don’t make sense’ It is a crazy idea. As here in Europe we are soon to bring in GDPR to protect people’s data, the US seems to be going the other way, proposing that some visitors should have to give details of their social media for the past five years. It will put off a load of people.

TALK BACK WHAT YOU’RE SAYING THIS WEEK

Hats off to Gatwick for ‘disability day’

After the recent horror stories about Heathrow losing BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner’s wheelchair, and Emirates telling Commonwealth Games athlete Nikki Emerson on a flight that she would upset passengers by crawling to the toilet, you begin to lose faith that change will ever come. So it is most welcome to hear that one airport is making an effort to ease

journeys for those with visible and invisible disabilities alike. Gatwick welcomed families that had a member with a hidden disability to a ‘disability day’ and went through procedures to make travelling easier. This involved a special-assistance team, buggy rides and a lanyard scheme which has been in place since 2016 but is only now receiving recognition. Those of us with post-polio syndrome have very mixed experiences when it comes to travel, and events like this one at Gatwick make all the difference. DAVID MITCHELL national chairman, The British Polio Fellowship

are returning to service and dealing with people.

Andy Freeth @Andy_Freeth Week four at @IfOnlyPartners and starting to look into our valued customers. Special mention to all @AitoAgents with lots of love for us!

Cathie O’Dea @CathieodeaTC Thank you so much Jade @jet2tweets for your help in securing a booking to Italy that showed as ‘holiday no longer available’ on my system

QUOTE OF THE

WEEK

“The trade in wildlife fuels corruption. A living elephant can be worth $450,000 to a community in Africa

over its lifetime. Dead, it may be $20,000.”
