It’s sweets and treats as crisis triggers kind acts


Surprise deliveries, food banks and messages of support have been among a number of acts of kindness reported across the travel trade in the past week. As the impact of the coronavirus


left travel firms facing uncertainty, colleagues, customers, partners and rivals have come together with measures of goodwill and messages of support. The positive actions led Travel


Weekly to compile a dedicated Good Deed Feed online showcasing the gestures of support that individuals and teams have shown to one another. The feed can be found at go.travelweekly.co.uk/gooddeedfeed. Highlights include:


Q Central England Co-operative is to launch a food bank for those most-affected by the coronavirus crisis. Food parcels will be created from food donated at the Co-op’s food stores, in which about half of the
