HOW BOURNE LEISURE GIVES BACK
Haven Haven is proud to continue its partnership with the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea. With 36 holiday parks based around the Great British coastline, it makes the perfect partnership for 2019. Having raised £122,215 for the charity in its first year, Haven will be fundraising again to bring a sense of community to the parks and their teams, and to raise awareness among guests.

HOW TO ENTER
If you’ve got a local project – perhaps your community centre needs a refresh, or your school or community gardens need improving – you could win £1,000 and hands-on support as Bourne Community Champion 2019!

The judging panel will include a member of Bourne Leisure’s charity team and Travel Weekly editor-in-chief Lucy Huxley. The judges’ decision will be final.
Butlin’s Butlin’s continues to support Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2019, having raised more than £630,000 in the past four years. The relationship with Great Ormond Street started in 1938, when Butlin’s day visitors were charged a shilling to enter, with all money going to the hospital. In 1965, The Variety Club, sponsored by Sir Billy Butlin, donated a hydrotherapy pool to the hospital’s department of physical medicine. In 1977, Sir Billy donated funds to purchase the UK’s first paediatric scanner at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Butlin’s said it was delighted to continue Sir Billy Butlin’s legacy and have the opportunity to put a modern spin on an incredible tradition.
Warner Leisure Hotels Warner Leisure Hotels and Macmillan Cancer Support are working together to fund help and advice for people affected by cancer. Since launching this partnership in 2017, Warner has raised over £500,000 for Macmillan. This amount could fund over 25,000 hours of care from health professionals, helping to support 1,510 people affected by cancer. Warner will encourage year-round engagement from all teams across its 14 UK sites and there are lots of ways for guests to get involved, from coffee mornings to sponsored walks.
