The Marks family of Baldwins Travel are set to appear in the upcoming Channel 5 reality TV series, The Bachelor. The eligible bachelor featured in the dating show
will be Alex Marks (pictured, far right), the 31-year-old brother of Chris and Nick, joint managing directors of the Kent-based independent agency. A host of single ladies will compete for personal
trainer Alex’s attention over the course of the 10-part series, which was filmed in South Africa, Antigua and the UK. Broadcast dates have yet to be released. Chris, Nick, their father Ron, who is company
chairman, and mother Sally, a director, all make appearances. Nick (second left), Ron and Chris are pictured at last year’s Agent Achievement Awards.

Hurtigruten’s new head of trade sales has revealed plans to build a “one-stop shop” agent portal and to host meet-and-greet trade events.
In his first interview in his new
role, ar alter said he wanted to wor more closely with eisting accounts, after being promoted from national ey account manager on February 6. alter said agent training
had occasionally been an afterthought at Hurtigruten. In the net si months, he plans
to launch a portal for agents to access training, an image library, mareting tools and the line’s 2 booing platform. The new portal will be designed in-house and will be lined to the eisting 2 booing engine. He said gents will be able
to go to one place and get all the basics. e need to drive agents to the portal and mae sure that they have the nowledge because
