Aurora ships set for Antarctic in 2022-23
Aurora Expeditions ships Greg Mortimer and Sylvia Earle will offer 26 departures as part of the line’s Antarctic 2022-23 programme. Itineraries range from 11 to 23 days and are due to start in October 2022. The expedition line has opened pre-registration for the voyages.

Royal Caribbean to base Grandeur of the Seas in Barbados
Royal Caribbean International is to base a ship in Barbados for the first time from December, with fly-cruise options available. Grandeur of the Seas will
run two week-long sailings and a 14-night itinerary from the Caribbean island – a traditional winter base for rivals such as P&O Cruises. The 1,950-passenger ship
will sail from Bridgetown on three itineraries: a seven-night Southern Caribbean Island Hop, visiting Tobago, Trinidad, Grenada, St Vincent, Dominica and Saint Lucia; a seven-night Southern Caribbean Adventure visiting Grenada, Bonaire, Aruba, Curacao and Trinidad; and a 14-night Ultimate Caribbean trip.

Holland America Line launches Europe programme for 2022

Holland America Line has released a 2022 European programme, featuring itineraries ranging from seven to 35 days in northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. The programme features 10 seven-night Med
voyages – up from five in 2021 – from May to August. Incoming Pinnacle-class ship Rotterdam, due to
debut on August 1, 2021, will recreate the line’s historic Rotterdam-New York sailing on October 15, 2022. Prices for the 15-day 150th Anniversary sailing from Rotterdam
start from £1,649. Calls include Le Havre and Plymouth. Volendam will offer Europe Voyages of Distinction
