Azamara to undertake £60m refurbishment of its four vessels


Azamara Cruises is set to carry out a £60 million refurbishment of its four-ship fleet over the next few years, under the Azamara Forward programme. The revamp will include new


suite categories and a Chef’s Table restaurant. Azamara Quest will be the


first to undergo a month-long refurbishment, from October 31, ahead of its 2027 world cruise. It first post-dry-dock sailing is scheduled for December 18. Azamara Onward will be next,


ahead of its 2028 world cruise. Twelve new suites and two


new categories will be introduced on Quest. The Grandview and Panorama Suites will be aimed at families with older children or two couples sharing. The average fare for a 10-night

MSC Cruises will add four dining venues, an adult-only retreat and an upgraded family beach area to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. The cruise line plans to make the changes to the


private destination in the Bahamas by late 2027. The four new dining venues will take the total on the


island to seven, including a new speciality restaurant, new buffets and food market options. In addition, a new exclusive retreat for adults will be


added, along with more cabanas across the island. Seakers Cove Family Beach will get an upgrade with


a new kids’ playground, splashpad, ropes course, ping pong and foosball. A new ‘Shifting Perspective’ experience from the


MSC Foundation aims to give visitors an “immersive hands-on experience” in marine conservation. Construction work has started on the pier, which
