The Agent Achievement Awards is set to honour the best of the best when it returns to the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel on Thursday, July 9
T
he trade’s most prestigious travel agent awards have opened for nominations and voting. The Travel Weekly Agent
Achievement Awards will take place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel in London on Thursday, July 9, and will once again recognise the UK’s most outstanding agents and agencies. Founded in 1997, the AAAs feature
a range of supplier-voted categories recognising the best small, medium and large agencies by region, sales channel and product specialisms. Additional self-nominated categories
celebrate individual agents and business excellence in a range of fields including agencies’ commitment to staff development and wellbeing. Special awards will recognise outstanding contribution alongside new agencies blazing a trail in the industry. A new award has also been
introduced for 2026, to recognise an individual team’s excellence in the Agency Branch of the Year category. The event will be held for the
first time in conjunction with two headline sponsors, with Virgin Atlantic returning to top billing alongside
established partner Celebrity Cruises. Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel
Weekly, said: “The annual launch of the Agent Achievement Awards is always a moment to celebrate, as we begin our search for the UK’s best frontline travel sellers and agencies. “We are incredibly grateful to
Virgin Atlantic and Celebrity Cruises for showing their support as joint headline sponsors, and to the host of trade-friendly sponsors and partners who allow us to put on such a spectacular show.” Nicki Goldsmith, director of global agency sales at Virgin Atlantic, said:
“As a long-term AAAs supporter, we are delighted to show our ongoing support for our agent partners as we return as headline sponsor alongside Celebrity Cruises.
“The awards are the pinnacle of success within the travel trade and we can’t wait to celebrate alongside the winners on the night.” Claire Stirrup, managing director EMEA at Celebrity Cruises, said: “Travel agents are absolutely at the heart of everything we do, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate their incredible achievements as joint headline sponsor of the AAAs. “This event
is always a true highlight of the year – an electric celebration of talent, passion and excellence – and we’re already buzzing with excitement to honour the UK’s standout agents and agencies.”
