Riviera reserves 300 cabins for solo sailors on European cruises in April
Riviera Travel has made 300 cabins available to solo travellers in April next year with no single supplement. They can be booked on 38 departures across seven European river cruise itineraries, all but one of which last eight days. Prices for the line’s Amsterdam, Kinderdijk and the Dutch Bulbfields itinerary, of which there are nine departures, lead in at £979.

MSC seals flights deal with Saudia for Red Sea departures
Airline Saudia will support MSC Cruises’ Red Sea sailings from Saudi Arabia with 36,000 seats this winter. Te tie-up aims to bring
20,000 new holidaymakers from Europe and North America to Jeddah to board winter fly-cruises
departing from the city. MSC Bellissima’s seven-night
sailings run from this month until March 2022. Ports of call include King Abdullah Economic City and Yanbu, both Saudi Arabia; and Aqaba, Jordan. Te cruises depart from Jeddah at 11pm on Saturdays. Prices for the round-trip
sailing, with return flights and a local visa, start from £979. Saudia has changed its flight
schedule on Friday to make it easier for passengers from Switzerland, the US, UK and Austria to join the ship.

Princess starts selling 2024 World Cruise
Princess Cruises has puts its 111-night 2024 World Cruise on sale. The round-trip sailing from Florida on Island Princess will take in 27 countries. Passengers can embark in Fort Lauderdale on January 4, 2024, or Los Angeles on January 18. Prices start at £15,449.

APT is to add two ships – Mekong Serenity and Apsara – to its Mekong programme for 2022-23. New-build Mekong Serenity can carry up to 88
passengers and has been custom-built for APT’s luxury fleet. Te ship will operate two itineraries: the 15-day Vietnam and Cambodia Highlights and 19-day Vietnam and Cambodia Discovery. Prices for Vietnam and Cambodia Highlights
sailings, from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Siem Reap, Cambodia, currently start at £4,145, down from £5,295. Te saving of £1,150 is available for bookings made before December 31. Te 19-day Vietnam and Cambodia Discovery
itinerary, from Hanoi to Siem Reap, costs from £5,845, a saving of £1,650. Highlights include a Buddhist blessing at a monastery in Oudong and watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Prices include return flights, home-to-airport
transfers, hotel accommodation, meals and drinks. Both itineraries have departures from July 2022 to March 2023.

Botham, Watson and Wareing among celebs on Uniworld cruises
Uniworld has released three river cruise departures next year with celebrities on board. The sailings will feature opera singer Russell Watson, former England cricketer Sir Ian Botham, BBC presenter and chef Matt Tebbutt, Michelin-starred chef Marcus Wareing and wine expert Oz Clarke.
