First Class Holidays adds wide range of islands to programme

Juliet Dennis

First Class Holidays has produced its first standalone brochure featuring islands in the Caribbean, Indian Ocean and South Pacific. The 157-page Islands programme focuses on the

upper end of the market and is currently digital-only. Islands featured include Barbados, Antigua,

Saint Lucia, Grenada and the Grenadines in the Caribbean; Mauritius, Seychelles, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean; Fiji, the Cook Islands and French Polynesia in the South Pacific; and Hawai’i, Maui, Kaui and Oahu in Hawaii. Most were previously sold by the Canadian

specialist, which also offers South Africa, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, but have not featured in a dedicated programme before. It is the first time the Caribbean islands, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka have been included in a brochure. The programme features 92 hotels across the

islands, most of which are new to First Class Holidays. In the Seychelles, the operator offers seven nights’

half-board at Constance Ephelia, with transfers and Emirates flights from Heathrow, from £2,982 in Novemer 2021. Managing director Dan Gathercole said the

additional islands were a “good fit” in product terms and near to existing destinations sold by the operator. He added: “We are very pleased to be

launching Islands and extending our portfolio. We already sold the majority of these

destinations as part of our five core destinations, and the proximity and easy access to them suggested

we should sell even more. We launched our concierge service last year and this product fits nicely with that.” First Class has rescheduled its 25th anniversary

event at Stableford Park, Leicestershire, from June to November this year. It will showcase its product to more than 100 agents at the event. fcholidays.com/travelagents
