Seabourn plans 2022 programme in Europe


Seabourn will base four ships in Europe in 2022, with 68 voyages planned. Hurtigruten reveals its Norwegian coastal cruises for 2022-23


Hurtigruten has released its Coastal programme of sailings for 2022-23, featuring 34 ports along the Norwegian coast. Passengers can choose from 16 options within four main itineraries, including the 12-day Classic Round Voyage and a three-day itinerary from Tromso to Kirkenes. Prices for the 12-day Classic


Round Voyage, departing from Bergen on June 13, 2022, lead in at £2,032. Sailing on board Polarlys, passengers will pass more than 100 fjords and 1,000 mountains and call at 34 ports. The line offers a ‘Northern


Lights Promise’ on select voyages between October 1, 2022, and March 31, 2023, offering passengers another six or seven-day Classic Voyage free of charge if the lights do not appear during their sailing. Anthony Daniels, general

Saga unveils plans for Danube sailings with second river ship

Saga is to add a second vessel, Spirit of the Danube, to its river fleet next year. The 190-passenger ship, which will feature two


restaurants, will operate sailings on the Danube after a maiden voyage departing from Amsterdam. The vessel’s itineraries will span ports of call


including Budapest, Hungary; Vienna, Austria; and Ruse and Tulcea, both Romania. Spirit of the Danube will be a sister vessel to Spirit of


the Rhine, which is due to launch this May. A 12-night cruise and land itinerary, Carpathian


Mountains to the Land of the Bears, sailing from Budapest to Chiciu, Romania, includes a six-day land tour. Prices start from £2,699. More itineraries will be announced this month. The ship’s keel-laying ceremony took place last week
