Air Transat: training revamp


Etihad increases flight frequency to Abu Dhabi to five a day from June


Etihad Airways will boost services from Heathrow to Abu Dhabi this summer. Five daily flights will operate between June 23 and September 28, up from four a day between May 26 and June 22. Flights will return to four a day from September 29 until October 26. Etihad currently offers a three-times-a-day service on the route.

American starts daily JFK flights to Guyana


American Airlines is offering UK passengers a new way to reach Guyana with a new service to the South American country from New York JFK airport. The airline said the daily service connects with flights arriving at JFK from UK airports including Gatwick and Heathrow. aa.com


Jet2 adds 10,000 seats to boost off-peak Menorca sales

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are raising capacity to Menorca next year by adding 10,000 seats. Twenty-six flights have been added to the summer


2020 programme to the Balearic island, starting from early April. Te extra services will operate from Birmingham, Manchester and Stansted. Te move will enable Jet2 to serve Menorca during


the Easter holiday period for the first time. Additional flights will start from April 5 next


year until the end of October from Birmingham and Stansted, and until early November from Manchester. During peak periods it will run up to four flights a


week from Birmingham, five from Stansted and six from Manchester. Te airline and operator said the extra services were


in response to demand for package holidays to Menorca outside of the peak summer holiday period.

Jet2 meets hoteliers in Menorca


Tui Airways adds flights to Marsa Alam, Puerto Vallarta and Girona


Tui Airways has added weekly Wednesday flights to Marsa Alam, Egypt, from Manchester airport from May 6, 2020. Frequency from Manchester to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, will increase from one to two flights a week. The carrier will also start flights to Girona, Spain, from Doncaster Sheffield airport next year.
