Celestyal releases inaugural western Med programme

Celestyal has put its first-ever western Mediterranean programme on sale. Celestyal Discovery will visit 14
ports: Tarragona, Cadiz, Malaga and Valencia in Spain; Palma, Majorca; Portuguese capital Lisbon; Gibraltar; Tangier and Casablanca in Morocco; Messina, Naples and Civitavecchia in Italy; and Nice and Sète in France. The 14-night Mediterranean
Odyssey: Spain, Portugal & Morocco itinerary includes overnight stays in Tarragona and Lisbon, as well as late departures from Gibraltar and Casablanca. The cruise will also visit Malaga, Tangier, Valencia, Palma and Sète. Prices start at £949. Agents can also book the
itinerary as two seven-night voyages, sailing either from Tarragona to Lisbon or Lisbon to Tarragona. Prices lead in at £569. The 1,360-passenger ship will
book-end its winter schedules with two eight-night Mediterranean
Celestyal Discovery
Riviera repositioning voyages between Athens and Tarragona. For the winter 2026-27 season,
the first repositioning sailing will depart Athens on November 28, with the return leg leaving Tarragona on January 2. For winter 2027-28, the
outbound cruise will sail from Athens on November 19, 2027, returning from Tarragona on February 19, 2028. The eight-night repositioning
cruise can be combined with the 14-night Mediterranean Odyssey itinerary to create a 22-night voyage. They also can be paired with a four-night Iconic Greek Islands sailing to form a 26-night itinerary. Celestyal, meanwhile, recently
confirmed the extension of its current eastern Mediterranean season following the cancellation of its Arabian Gulf programme for winter 2026-27. Plans for winter 2027-28 for the line’s other vessel, Celestyal Journey, will be announced in due course.

We were thrilled to wave off our first ‘river and ocean’ guests on their Adriatic cruise aboard Seabourn Quest in Venice on Sunday, following their Uniworld Venice Lagoon itinerary on La Venezia, which formed the first part of their holiday.
The success of this joint venture with Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is incredibly encouraging, and we look forward to welcoming many more guests on these combined holidays for 2027, booked through our valued travel partners.
Meanwhile, it has been wonderful to have our Seabourn ships visiting UK ports. On June 22, we hosted travel agent partners aboard expedition ship Seabourn Venture in Poole, where Robin West, vice-president of expeditions, shared expert insights into expedition cruising.
On July 8,Seabourn Ovation berthed in Leith alongside The Royal Yacht Britannia. Seabourn Ovation was under the command of Edinburgh-born Captain David Bathgate, who received a warm homecoming.
On July 9, we hosted an agent ship visit and
lunch aboard Seabourn Ovation in the Port of Tyne. Guests enjoyed a surprise appearance from Ann Cleeves OBE, acclaimed author of the Vera and Shetland series of novels, who regularly sails as one of our authors at sea.
